Terms & Conditions

Please Read our TERMS OF SERVICE carefully, by using this website you agree to these terms of service.

 

Welcome to Allen Refrigeration & Equipment, these Terms of Service may be changed in the future without further notice. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service. Further, these Terms of Service apply exclusively to your access to, and use of, the Site and are in addition to the terms or conditions of any other agreement you may have with Allen Refrigeration & Equipment, for products, services or otherwise.

 

ORDERING – Allen Refrigeration & Equipment offers a shopping cart system for easy ordering of products. If you have questions or concerns pertaining to one or more of our products, please contact us first before placing your order. This could include questions about brands, types, sizes, weights, quantity, pack size, box size, color, availability, etc. Because we carry hundreds of parts, supplies and equipment, our default quantity for all items will show quantity 1000 in stock. Although we do try to keep all items up to date, it is sometimes impossible to do so and we would suggest you contact us should you have any concerns. You may also have questions about pack size, quantities or box size. We do carry several items with a minimum purchase quantity. If an item shows a pack size of 5, then 5 will be the minimum amount you can purchase of that specific item and the price will be multiplied by (5) five. Some items may advise you only need to purchase (1) one, to receive the pack size shown on that specific item. Be sure to contact us before ordering, should you have any questions. Your price will also help to reflect the quantities you are ordering.

 

PARTS ORDERS – Allen Refrigeration & Equipment cannot diagnose equipment problems for our customers ordering parts.  Parts are to be installed by a qualified licensed, insured technician. Allen Refrigeration & Equipment is not liable for any damages before or after a part is installed whether damages are directly related to the part being installed or not. Customer assumes all risk of property damages, fire, bodily injury, electrocution, burns, proper handling of refrigerant and any other circumstance directly or indirectly related to installation of parts purchased from us.  Allen Refrigeration & Equipment makes no claims or warrants no guarantee purchased parts will repair your unit; please consult with a licensed, insured service technician to properly diagnose your equipment and install parts.

 

RETURNS - If an item you ordered from us does not meet your expectations, simply return it to us within 7 days of the sale in an unused and undamaged condition. You must first contact us and request return authorization.  You will be responsible for the return freight charges.  We do not accept returns on special order items, non-stock or discontinued items nor electrical parts.

 

  • We will not accept returns or offer refunds on large equipment because it will not fit where the customer intended, so please measure twice.  If in doubt please call our customer service representatives.
  • Unless your business is equipped with a loading dock, refrigeration equipment will be unloaded in your parking lot just off the lift gate; the trucking companies will not take the equipment inside your store.  Refunds will not be given for any misunderstanding.
  • As soon as the returned merchandise is received and the condition of the product is verified, the proper credit will be issued. All returns must be sent back to us shipping prepaid.
  • We cannot accept returns of electrical items. Temperature controls and thermostats are considered electrical parts and any items that makes, shows, produces electricity or has wires or wiring attached.
  • We cannot accept returns of items that show signs of wear, installation, or use.
  • Refunds cannot be given for specially made items or custom / special non stock item orders or discontinued item orders.
  • Customer must pay for return shipping, unless the return is due to an error on our behalf. We will then pay for the return shipping on the part or equipment in error.
  • All returns must be done within 7 days from date of purchase, and must be accompanied with customers receipt and invoice.
  • Items returned to us which are deemed un-returnable, will be returned to the customer at the customers expense.
  • Certain restrictions apply. Extra fees may apply for testing and evaluation to determine whether an item may be returned.
  • By placing an order with us, you agree to this agreement.

·         By placing an order with us online through our online ordering system, Google checkout, EBay, or any other service which carries, distributes and retails parts obtained through Allen Refrigeration & Equipment or an order placed over the phone, you agree to all of Allen Refrigeration & Equipment user agreements.

 

SHIPPING - We are proud to offer fast and efficient shipping service to our customers.  Utilizing FedEx ground, and common freight carrier who will deliver your order to your business with the greatest efficiency and highest quality of service in the industry.

 

Please note, if you purchased a refrigeration unit it will arrive via semi-truck, or large box truck.  The trucking companies will only lower the equipment to the ground, THEY WILL NOT TAKE THE EQUIPMENT INSIDE YOUR STORE OR BUSINESS. Large refrigeration equipment is heavy; please have extra help available to assist the truck driver in lowering the unit to the ground. INSPECT YOUR UNIT FOR DAMAGES BEFORE SIGNING THE DELIVERY RECEIPT.  IF THERE IS DAMAGE NOTE ALL DAMAGES IN DETAIL ON THE DELIVERY RECIEPT SO YOU CAN FILE A FREIGHT CLAIM, IF EXCESSIVE DAMAGE REFUSE THE UNIT AND CONTACT US IMMEDATLY.  YOU WILL NOT BE RESPONSIABLE FOR RETURNED FREIGHT CHARGES IF THE ITEM ARRIVES EXCESSIVELY DAMAGED AND IS REFUSED. Once we receive the item back, we will ship out a replacement unit at no additional charge. All orders placed are normally shipped within 2 to 7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). You will normally receive your order in 3-5 business days after shipping. We reserve the right to charge our customers the extra cost for shipping set by any shipping or freight delivery services we use. Allen Refrigeration & Equipment and its affiliates, partners and dealers will always try to use the most cost efficient shippers or freight services, but we will not ever attempt to save a few dollars by going with an unauthorized private shipping company. We will only use approved United States qualified, licensed and insured shipping / freight companies such as Fed-Ex, USPS, Yellow, R&L, Pitt Ohio, Vitran, Roadway, USF.

 

WARRANTY- Used equipment is sold unless otherwise noted with a 30 day parts and labor warranty beginning the day the unit leaves our facility.  If you do not plan to use your unit immediately let us know before shipping and we will hold it at no charge until you are ready.  If the unit quits working within the 30 day period you must call us as soon as possible to report the issue.  We will make every attempt to dispatch a licensed service company to diagnose and repair the issue at no charge that day.  If parts are needed it is at our discretion whether the service company picks up the parts locally or we ship the parts to them.  In some cases used parts will be used just as they are in our shop.  We do not, nor do the equipment manufacturers compensate for loss product/sales or unauthorized overtime/weekend warranty service.  If the independent service company determines the issue has been caused by improper electrical supply, unit not on a dedicated circuit, installation, tampering or freight damage the warranty will be voided and you will be responsible for all service charges incurred.  New equipment comes only with the manufacturer’s warranty which varies from item to item.  Please contact our sales team with any questions.

 

PAYMENT PROCESSING - Credit card payments take an average of 1 to 3 days to process. Checks and money orders can take longer to process through the bank.  In this time, your order will be packaged but not shipped. The payment must clear before any orders are shipped.

 

PRIVACY – Allen Refrigeration & Equipment believes in protecting user privacy.  Users of the Site should refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how uses and collects information.

Limitation on Liability
